NORAMCO provided detail engineering design services for the reliability upgrade of the annular cooler for the FMO pellet plant including development of a new design for an air cooled screed wall with contoured bottom to assist with pellet cooling efficiency, installation of water seals in lieu of sand seals and replacement of the moving walls with prefabricated refractory lined wall sections.
