Magnetation Inc.

NORAMCO Engineering was retained by Magnetation Inc. to provide Process and Detail Engineering Design Services for the first commercial plant utilizing the pattanted high gauss separators developed by Magnetation.  The facility is designed to extract high grade hematite ores from iron ore tailings ponds that were developed while processing "natural ores" on the the Minnesota Mesabi Range.  The facility is designed to be portable and is housed within an air supported structure to allow operation during harsh Minnesota winters.  Upon completion of the extraction of commercial iron based minerals the tailings ponds would revert to wet land sites.
